Can you guarantee that my disease will be cured if I choose to receive their treatment?
No. We can't guarantee that. As a matter of fact, no doctor can
guarantee that he/she can cure all his/her patients.
Why are all the doctors in Shanghai?
Shanghai is the largest city in China. It boasts the best hospitals and
doctors in the whole country. However, Shanghai is only our starting point. We'll
have more doctors -- those really good ones -- in other parts of China.
Can I consult those doctors through you before I decide whether or not
to go to Shanghai? How?
Yes. You can consult them through MyNutrition.com since such a medical trip
to China must be a very important decision for you. You can email or fax us the
history of your disease including your symptoms, results of laboratory tests and
the diagnoses of your doctors (which we will consider confidential information)
and your questions. We will convey the information to the relevant doctors (or
those you name), and give you the feedback as soon as possible.
Is there any charge involved for such consultations?
Yes, there is a fee of $175 (US dollars), which includes the English translation if necessary.
When can I expect to get answers from the doctors after I send you my
information?
It again depends on the nature of your questions and the individual doctors.
It normally takes two to five work days, but sometimes some of the doctors may
not be immediately available, in which case you might have to wait a bit longer
or we have to send your questions to another doctor in the same field.
Where will I stay in Shanghai?
The doctor will determine where you should stay based on your medical conditions. If you don't have to stay in the hospital,
we will arrange for you and your companion to stay in one of
the three to five-star hotels in Shanghai which is not far from the hospital.
Can you send the Chinese doctor to the hotel instead of sending me to
the hospital?
We can arrange for this if the nature of your condition is such that
you need not go to the hospital for laboratory tests or examinations that will
require big medical equipment.
Can you arrange for someone to accompany me if my family is not able to
go to China with me?
Yes. We can do that, but you have to be able to fly to and from China by yourself.
How long do I have to stay in China for the treatment?
This depends on the nature of your disease and treatment. You should decide
this after you consult with your doctor.
I can't speak Chinese. Can you arrange for an interpreter for me?
Yes. We can also do this for you.
Can you arrange for me to have a tour around the city or some parts of China?
Yes. We can arrange this for you. We can send someone to show
you around the city or make arrangements with a local travel agency there for
you.
